How You Can Help

2. Volunteer your time and/or services. Contact Diane at 463-3699

3. Join the group. Meetings are at noon the second Tuesday of every month. Round Table Pizza Yerington. Come early to order lunch and chat.

4. Save your aluminum beverage cans. The YAPS recycle collection container is across the street from the Yerington Animal Shelter at 215 Trowbridge.

5. Assign your Friendship Fund Donation to YAPS. If you shop with a Scolari’s card, they will make a donation to the charity of your choice. We would like to be that charity. Please call Martha 463-7813 for the appropriate form. A great way to make a donation with no additional expense to you.

6. Sponsor the LAPS for YAPS event in June – call Carol for details 463-2618

7. Donate salable items for YAPS to sell or raffle. Artwork, and craft items are appreciated as well as new or nearly new items suitable for resale.

8. Donate items in September for the Great Yerington Yard Sale. YAPS will have a rummage booth then. This is the only time YAPS accepts rummage. The remainder of the year, we request you donate your items to one of the many thrift stores in the area. Many of the 501.c.3 organizations in our area depend on it.
